Heavenly Churros was founded by Lideny and Manny, experienced food truck entrepreneurs who first launched “Captain Lobster” in 2017. After four years of dedicated growth, their hard work, the grace of God, and the support of loyal customers enabled them to pursue a new concept—one they had always envisioned. With a shared love for desserts and sweets, they decided to create something that would bring joy and celebrate their cultural roots. As proud Hispanic entrepreneurs in the United States, they wanted to introduce a traditional treat from their community—churros—while adding an American twist. Heavenly Churros offers a delightful range of churros, paired with unique toppings, ice cream, and even milkshakes, creating a sweet experience for everyone to enjoy.

Meet Lideny & Manny

Lideny and Manny are originally from Venezuela. Lideny is an engineer, and Manny studied journalism. Due to the socioeconomic challenges in their home country, they made the difficult decision to immigrate to the United States in pursuit of better opportunities. Starting with humble jobs such as dishwashing, driving for FedEx, and waitressing, they worked tirelessly to achieve their dreams. With faith, determination, and gratitude for the opportunities this country provides, Lideny and Manny gradually built the foundation of what is now Heavenly Churros.
