Meet Chef Woodson
Chef Woodson started his career in the hospitality industry at the young age of 17. Hired as a dishwasher, he quickly understood the importance of teamwork in the kitchen. His peers recognized his strong work ethic and offered to train him in other areas. Soon, he learned how to properly prepare food, grill, sauté, bake, fry, and present dishes that tasted as good as they looked. Realizing his love for cooking, his passion grew into a goal to achieve greatness in the food industry. Chef Woodson was determined to refine his culinary skills and pursue this as a full-time career.
He then became the Sous Chef at Hospitality Staffing in Orlando, Florida. This experience influenced his decision to eventually own a catering company. Chef Woodson continued to expand his experience as Executive Chef and Catering Manager at local restaurants, including Liz Oasis Cafe in Maitland. While working full-time, he also began catering small parties and events. After a few years, Chef Woodson decided it was time to take a chance and create the business plan that would become Woodson’s Food Vending LLC., now known as Woodson’s Wrap Shack.
